Howard is an Organisational Development Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in the leadership and management of organisational development functions and projects in the NHS. He works with clients on the full range of ‘here and now’ OD activities, developing culture, strategy, structure, systems, staffing, skills and leadership. Professionally qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Howard also brings a knowledge and understanding of the HR and people management issues to the management of change.

Howard works at both a strategic and operational level, and is able to engage with people at all levels of an organisation, to support development and change. He has considerable knowledge of the recent NHS reforms, working with CCGs and CSUs to develop these new organisations. He also acts as a Lay Member on a number of national NHS programmes including CCG authorisation panels, the Keogh Review on the Quality of Care and Treatment, and in the hospital inspection programme.
